During the workshop, you will learn the essential techniques for photographing the stunning sunset over Lake Wakatipu, a location renowned for its breathtaking vistas.
You’ll discover how to compose your shots effectively to capture the vibrant hues reflecting off the water. We'll also cover the importance of timing for capturing the perfect moment when the sun dips behind the mountains.

Mastering Night Landscapes in Tāhuna Glenorchy
Throughout the session, you will explore the intricacies of night photography, mastering techniques to capture breathtaking starry skies, celestial events, and the ethereal beauty of landscapes illuminated by the night sky.
You'll master camera settings, composition, and exposure techniques to create sharp, detailed images even in low light.
In addition to honing your photography skills, you’ll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Māori culture and stories surrounding the landscapes you’ll capture.
Thanks to our careful guidance from Darren Rewi - Take Tuia, we are able to share with you some of the stories that connect the Māori people to the land and sky, deepening your appreciation for the environment and its history.

DATES: Workshop bookings are available on demand, with a minimum of 2 guests. As Glenorchy is our home, we are flexible and can tailor the schedule to fit your availability.
